🔥 AMD yesterday surpassed a value of 1 trillion dollars for the first time!

Yesterday was historic for AMD $AMD. The stock shot up about 10% and the company got past the 1 trillion USD market cap threshold for the first time.

-The stock reached a new all-time high around 613 USD

-Since the start of the year AMD has added about 185%

-Market cap surpassed 1 trillion USD for the first time

-AMD thus joined Nvidia, Broadcom, and Micron among US chip companies that have surpassed this threshold.

Yesterday's growth was driven mainly by further optimism around AI. AMD is also gradually moving from just chips to complete AI systems and is trying to gain a larger share of a market still dominated by Nvidia.

For us, AMD is one of the most interesting companies in AI infrastructure, but after this year's 185% growth, expectations are already really high. It will be important to watch whether the company can confirm such significant appreciation with further results.

Do you have AMD in your portfolio? And after such growth, would you still buy, or do you think the valuation is too high? 👇

This stock makes me incredibly happy. I think there is still room for growth, so I'm definitely not selling! How about you guys?

We are already out of the roller coaster, we sold around $500 when we thought everything was already priced into the stock. But the market is showing us the opposite so far 😂

Purchase for 89 USD, I'm more than satisfied :-)

KJ

I felt similarly, but I already sold everything.

I have AMD here too thanks to a discussion on Bullios and purchase price of 99 USD (I started at 121 USD and last purchase at 77 USD). I closed 1/3 at 360 USD and hold 2/3... I'm thinking about closing another 1/3....

SD

great buy and great strategy! we closed our last position around $500

M

I'm holding a $91 purchase... up over 500%, that's nice to see...

SD

and you're still holding a full position?

TK

It's simple, I never buy stocks at ATH. For this reason, AMD at $600 and more would essentially be uninvestable for me as an entry investment. But congratulations to holders 🚀

Agreed, at the current valuation AMD doesn't seem investment-attractive to us either, but of course that doesn't mean the stock won't keep rising.
